Mountain Fork Park is a terrific place for both hiking and fly fishing. The lower part of the river offers year-round trout fishing. Spend some time walking the shores and exploring the nearby area. If you do travel to Mountain Fork Park, be sure to check out the Presbyterian Falls.

David L. Boren Hiking Trail

This trail is a longer one. It’s about 12 miles long, and it doesn’t loop. It does connect to many other trails in the area, so if you have the time to explore, this is a great place to start. Just remember to find your way back to your vehicle at the end of the day.
