We are a locally owned, family operated cabin management company specializing in luxury vacation cabin experiences in the Beavers Bend /Broken Bow Lake area. We started our business in 2006 with 3 cabins and have grown to over 80 privately owned vacation cabins in Broken Bow.

Our office is open Monday – Friday: 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday – Sunday: 11am to 7pm. Phones are answered remotely after 7pm. We do not have employees located in the office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have a reservation question, please try to call during our business hours. We may not have access to our reservation system, but we will be able to answer most of your questions. We will email directions to your cabin after we complete your final billing.  Your cabin directions will contain the physical address.  However, the 911 address (physical address) may not work in your GPS as we are in a rural area and the address system is not complete.  Many GPS systems do not recognize many of our address.  You can use Google Maps or Yahoo maps to see if it can locate the address.  If not, try searching for Broken Bow or Hochatown, OK 74728. From that point you will have to follow the written directions which Broken Bow Cabin Lodging will email prior to your arrival. Don’t forget them or there is a good chance you will get lost!  We recommend using GPS to get to Broken Bow, but use our directions from Broken Bow.  Keep in mind, your data on your phone may not work when you reach our area.

There is something for everyone in the Broken Bow lake/Beavers Bend State Park area.

If you like fishing, there is bass fishing on Broken Bow lake and fly fishing for trout on the Mt. Fork river. The trout are stocked twice a month.

If you would like to play golf, check out Cedar Creek golf course. The course is challenging with fast greens and lots of trouble in the woods. There are several holes with lake views. It is really a beautiful course, even if you lose a bunch of balls! Idabel Country Club is about 20 miles away with wide fairways and much more forgiving terrain.

Girls Gone Wine has a fun gift shop and tasty wine samplings. They also offer free wifi while you enjoy their patio and sip the vino. Vojai’s Winery also has a cute gift shop and a great selection of wines. Fish Tales is another winery with a great patio for sipping and tasting.

There are all sorts of water activities. Whether River rafting, canoeing, kayaking or just floating in tubes down the Lower Mountain Fork River or the Glover River, it’s a perfectly relaxing way to spend a few hours before heading back to you fabulous cabin in Beavers Bend to enjoy the company of your family and friends.

If you’d rather be on Broken Bow lake, Beavers Bend Marina has pontoon and ski boat rentals. They’ll even rent you inflatables so the kids can tube behind the boat. The marina also has jet ski rentals that are great for couples just wanting to cruise and tour the lake.

Water sports aren’t for you? How about some horseback riding. There a few options varying from no experience to super advanced.

Other attractions include paddle boats, bumper boats, mini golf, go carts, hiking, biking, scuba diving, the Forest Heritage Center, museums, children’s playground area, abundant wildlife, and so much more. Most of all…nature and relaxation.

Depending on the size of the cabin, your card will be billed 30-60 days before arrival. The deposit amount is due at booking and is non-refundable, however it does apply back towards the total cost of your reservation. (We DO NOT accept pre-paid cards, Cash App, Venmo, Paypal, etc.)

  • FOR ALL RESERVATIONS WITH 3 BEDROOMS OR LESS The balance of your reservation is due 30 days in advance of your arrival date. Be sure funds are available at this time. If you make your reservation within 30 days of your arrival date, your card will be charged the full balance due at the time of reservation. If you have a large group, be sure to allow yourself time to collect the other parties’ payments to avoid possible cancellation.
  • FOR ALL RESERVATIONS WITH 4 BEDROOMS OR MORE The balance of your reservation is due 60 days in advance of your arrival date. Be sure funds are available at this time.  If you make your reservation within 60 days of your arrival date, your card will be charged the full balance due at the time of reservation. If you have a large group, be sure to allow yourself time to collect the other parties’ payments to avoid possible cancellation.
  • ONCE FINAL BILLING IS COMPLETE YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO THE CANCELLATION PERIOD. IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS!!

You will have a SELF CHECK-IN. There is no need to come to the Broken Bow Cabin Lodging office in Hochatown. You will be emailed your directions approximately prior to your arrival. The directions are in the form of a pdf attachment. You must open the file to get your directions. Just opening and printing the directions email will not print your directions. It will only print the cover pageYou must open and print the attachment. Also, cellphone data service often times does not work with some carriers. We have Pine Cellular, locally. Do not count on being able to open the directions on your phone. There is a link on our office map page to google maps which includes directions to our office if needed.. When you leave home don’t forget your directions to your Broken Bow vacation cabin. Our office is not open 24 hours a day so you might not be able to get in touch with us immediately to get directions. If your arrival time is after 10pm, there won’t be anyone available to assist you. Remember, if you call after that time there is a good chance we will be asleep. If you know your arrival time will be after 10 pm, make sure you have all your information and let us know in advance what time you expect to arrive.

Check-in time is 4 pm Monday thru Saturday and 5 pm on Sunday. IF your cabin is not rented the night before your arrival, we May be able to allow a early check-in. Otherwise the check-in time will be the above stated times or when the cabin is clean. Please check our online availability calendar the night before your arrival date to see if you will be able to check-in early. Early check-ins are not guaranteed. If your key code works when you arrive, your cabin is ready. If it is a turnaround, NO EARLY CHECK-INS ARE ALLOWEDNO early check-ins are allowed on Sunday as Sunday is most always a turnaround.

No.  Additonal cleaning fees only apply when the cabin is left excessively dirty or in disarray. Examples of extra cleaning fees are: If you move the furniture and we have to move it to its original position, (furniture should not be moved because it may damage the floors or the furniture), dishes are left unwashed and left throughout the cabin, (the dishwasher should be loaded and started before you leave. You do not have to wait for it to finish washing), spills should be cleaned off the floors, countertops and cabinets, trash should be removed and placed in the outside trash bins, (if your trash bin is full, leave the extra bagged trash sitting in the kitchen. Do not place it outside of the trash bin. The raccoons will have it everywhere!) sticky stuff all over the furniture, spills on the carpet, spills on the pool table, stained sheets and linens. (most cabins have washers and dryers. If your linens get stained, please wash them to remove the stains), vomit is an automatic $100 charge, (if you or someone in your group gets sick, clean it up and remove all trash containing vomit or you will be charged). Note: Don’t be worried about the cleaning. We never want to charge any fees for anything. However, sometime it is required based on the condition you leave the cabin. We must post the fees for those who don’t understand. Normal usage does not require extra cleaning so relax and enjoy your Beavers Bend cabin stay.

No, sorry we do not provide daily maid service. There will be basic cleaning supplies for daily cleaning in your cabin. If you are staying several days and your hot tub needs to be changed during your stay, please give us a call and if we can work it into our schedule we will change it for a $25 fee. An additional hot tub treatment will be left under the kitchen sink or on top of the refrigerator. Chemicals should be used sparingly to avoid discoloration of swimwear and skin irritation.

Yes, but limited. U.S. Cellular, At&t and Verizon work best in our area. Other services are “hit & miss” and at times all service is difficult to get signal. Even if you get cell phone service, the data with your carrier may not work. Cell phone service is extremely limited or no service at all inside the Beavers Bend State Park area. Most service will not work.

Broken Bow Cabin Lodging provides firewood for cabins with indoor wood burning fireplaces from mid October to Mid March depending on the weather. We do not provide firewood for the outdoor fire pits. Firewood is available for purchase at the two convenience stores at Hochatown or we can have firewood delivered to your cabin if you’d like. 1/8th rick (2’x2’) $20, 1/4 rick (2′ x 4′) $35, 1/2 rick (4′ X 4′) $60 or full rick (4′ X8′) $120. The charge will be added to your guest account. If you purchase firewood it is yours. We can not issue a refund for unused firewood. If you don’t use it all you can take it with you, but only the wood you purchase. Please do not take the wood we have provided for the indoor fireplaces. The fireplace wood will be clearly marked outside the cabin.

Yes, you can purchase alcohol in the area. Most convenient stores sell beer, Girls Gone Wine, Vojai’s Winery, Fish Tales Winery have a good selections of wine and there is also a Liquor store near the 259A south entrance. You may also go out for drinks at Moon Tower Bar & Grill, Abendigo’s Bar & Grill and Hochatown Saloon.

Pruett’s grocery store and Wal-Mart (not a superstore) are located on HWY 259 in Broken Bow . (See our online map) There is a Super Wal-Mart in Idabel (18-24 miles) The convenient stores and gas stations in the Hochatown area have basic supplies of grocery items in small quantities.

Good News! There are no fees to enjoy Beavers Bend State Park or to use the facilities at Broken Bow Lake. Fees do apply for camping, fishing and hunting. Licenses can be purchased at our local convenience stores and Wal-Mart stores. You can find this information at www.wildlifedepartment.com/laws_regs/fishingguide.htm

Yes. When fishing in the river, all ages are required to hold a valid trout stamp and people 14 & over must hold a valid Oklahoma fishing license. When fishing on Broken Bow Lake, only a permanent or temporary fishing license is required. Fishing licenses and trout stamps may be purchased at Wal-Mart, most convenient stores or the Beavers Bend State Park office. Broken Bow Lake is well known for large mouth bass, white bass, crappie & walleye. Fishing guides are available (see our “things to do” page for contact information). Mountain Fork River is a designated trout stream. Rainbow and brown trout are stocked two times per month. See stocking dates on the Oklahoma Wildlife website. Beavers Bend Marina is located on Stevens Gap Road within 3-6 miles from most of our Broken Bow cabins. There are four other boat ramps in Carson Creek and Stevens Gap also within 3-6 miles of your vacation cabin.

Yes – pontoon boats, fishing boats and Jet Ski rentals are available at Beavers Bend Marina.

No. We don’t promote any of our cabins as “direct access” to ATV trails. ATVs are allowed in designated areas of the Ouachita National Forest. It is illegal to ride on any state or county roads or to cross Hwy 259 on 4-wheelers. Please visit the below link for more information on ATV riding. http://www.mccurtaincountygetaways.com/atv_riding.php . ATV rules and areas are changing constantly so we don’t promote any area. Please be sure you are in a legal area before you ride because they will ticket you to the tune of $150 per person. Also be sure you know the rules and equipment required when riding in Oklahoma.

Dallas – Broken Bow is 197 miles from the center of Dallas. It is a 3 to 3 1/2 hour drive, depending upon your starting point.

Oklahoma City – Broken Bow is 255 miles from the center of Oklahoma City – usually a 4-hour drive.

Shreveport – Broken Bow is 155 miles from Shreveport – usually a 3-hour drive.

Tulsa – Broken Bow is 218 miles from Tulsa – usually a 3 1/2 hour drive.

All Broken Bow Cabin Lodging cabins are fully equipped for all your needs. They each have cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, linens and towels for the maximum occupancy posted for the cabin. Bedding is 2 per bed on king, queen, and full beds. Each cabin has an outdoor grill and all cabins have central heat and air conditioning. All our vacation cabins in Beavers Bend offer hot tubs.  Coffee pots and toaster are also found in each luxury cabins. Visit each cabin webpage for a complete amenities list.

If your cabin is pet friendly it is strongly suggested you crate your pet while you are away from the cabin exploring Beavers Bend. Make sure your pet is bathed, treated for fleas and groomed before bringing into the cabin. Keep pets off the furniture and bedding. There is a $50 non-refundable fee per pet for up to 2 small dogs. (25 lbs or less) If excessive dog hair is found on the bedding and furniture, an additional cleaning fee will apply. If the blinds are damaged or scratches on the walls and doors, damage fees will apply. Dogs only are allowed. No cats, birds or other animals. If a cabin is not pet friendly, you can not bring your dog and leave it outside. That is the same thing as having a pet and fees apply. IF YOU BRING A PET TO A “NO PETS” CABIN YOU WILL BE CHARGED $100 PER DAY. It is easy to find our pet friendly cabins. Just click on the pet friendly link. We don’t want to charge any fees so PLEASE abide by these rules.

No. Broken Bow Lake is managed by the Corps of Engineers. Therefore, no cabins in Beavers Bend are allowed to be built near the water. Broken Bow Cabin Lodging cabins range from 3 miles to 6 miles from the nearest boat ramp on Broken Bow Lake.

All our vacation cabins in Broken Bow are equipped to comfortably sleep the maximum number indicated (2 per bed and 2 per sleeper sofa). We supply enough amenities (towels, dishes, etc.) for that number of people. If you have more guest than the maximum occupancy we suggest you rent additional cabins for additional occupants. We have cabins located near each other and side-by-side in many cases. If there are more guests than the maximum occupancy, over occupancy fees will apply.

There are several restaurants located in the Hochatown / Beavers Bend area – Shady Oaks, Abendigos, Stevens Gap, Grateful Head Pizza and Tap Room, The Blue Rooster, Beavers Bend Café, The Rolling Fork and Hochatown Saloon. All are casual dress. The local convenient stores offer take-out food. There are additional restaurants in Broken Bow (approximately 8 miles).

Yes – half-day or full-day canoe rentals are available on the lower Mountain Fork River approximately 20 miles from your Beavers Bend luxury cabin. Also inside Beavers Bend State Park are canoe, paddle boats, bumper boats and kayak rentals. Advanced reservations are advised during the high peak season.

Yes. Most designated bike/hiking trails are located within Beavers Bend State Park. Check with the Nature Center or the State Park office for trail maps and directions. It is a good idea to notify the State Park office (580-494-6300) to let them know your plans to hike or bike the trails.

Yes. The cabins in Beavers Bend are located in the forest. You will see rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, deer, etc. The raccoons will be on your porch at night. Be sure to keep your trash can lids secured. For your protection, take caution against poison ivy and poisonous snakes – copperheads and rattlesnakes. Poison ivy and bug repellent are suggested.  Chiggers are also a common nuisance around the cabins in Broken Bow.  It is generally a good idea to stay away from tall grasses, especially in the warmer months.
